(Lakewood Ranch, FL)- A new year means new and exciting things for Arts A Blaze studio. In order to stay connected on all upcoming events, there will be a new blog post every week so you do not miss out on any of the creating fun.

With Valentine's Day approaching, it seems only appropriate to celebrate "Galentine's" in the best way possible: with wine. On Feb. 5th, 7th, 12th, and 14th, come on into the studio with your gals to receive 20 percent off of our stemless wine cups. Feel free to bring in wine to sip on as you both create your grape masterpieces.

Coming up this Friday, Feb. 7th, we will be hosting "Paint 'til You Faint". Every first Friday of the month we extend our store hours, making us open until 9pm. However the fun does not stop there, come in after 7:30pm to receive a 20 percent off discount!

Buy those movie tickets or make that dinner reservation, this Friday also marks our weekly Kids Night Out event. Children five years and older are invited to spend their Friday evening creating their very own artworks, while being entertained by our devoted staff members. The craft for this week is a mixed media heart tree on canvas. This event is from 6pm-8pm and is thirty dollars per child. We request that you register online beforehand.

Monday Feb. 17th marks National Random Acts of Kindness Day, at the studio we are celebrating by painting kindness rocks. If you are not familiar, kindness rocks are a growing trend where individuals paint rocks of all sizes, then hide them in public spaces for strangers to find and gather. Stop in anytime from 11am to 1pm to join us in this open studio class, led by local rock painting artist Marti Thornton Nelson. The class is fifteen dollars per person and includes two large rocks, supplies, as well as guided instruction.
